With many thanks to Richard Benson, the Action Streams template for BG Views is almost complete. Sadly, Mootools conflicts with jQuery, at least with jQuery Form, which is used to process the polls, and will be in heavy use once Motion ships.
The layout is complete, however Mootools was used to roll up all the Last.fm or Flickr Actions posted in one day's time.

Richard's code groups Last.fm and Flickr all together and adds it to
the end of the day. His code also grabs a preview pic for YouTube and
Flickr, and his DIV style allows for more flexibility than the default
LI style.
I have also got the "Find Me Elsewhere" widget complete. I will likely create a Twitter and Delicious widget as well.
I could turn Poll Position back to use the YUI framework, but frankly I would like to stick to just using jQuery on the site. So as soon as I figure out how to do the accordion in jQuery, this template will be marked off The List.
